Little King Crab

Little King Crab nails the island vibe with their fresh seafood boils and garlic butter sauces! The crab legs were meaty and perfectly seasoned, while the Hawaiian-style fried rice had just the right sweetness. Our server explained the fusion concept beautifully. The tiki bar decor and reggae music made it feel like vacation. Already planning our next visit!

The “King’s Feast” platter fed our family of four with juicy shrimp, tender mussels and the most flavorful Cajun-Hawaiian sauce. Their crispy wontons and pineapple fried rice made perfect sides. Food came out fast despite being packed on a Saturday night. Pro tip: wear the bib – things get deliciously messy!

As someone who grew up in Honolulu, I was skeptical about Midwest “island food” – but Little King Crab surprised me! The honey walnut shrimp tasted just like home, and their house special lobster combined Cantonese wok skills with Hawaiian freshness. Portions are huge – we took half home. Aloha spirit in every bite!

Celebrated my husband’s birthday with their seafood tower (snow crab, clams, AND lobster tails!) and everyone raved. The spicy ramen stir-fry was an unexpected hit. Servers kept our drinks full and even brought a free haupia pudding for dessert. Laidback but energetic atmosphere – like a luau in Crystal Lake!
